Annual Conference

Each spring, LPP convenes its Annual Conference, bringing together 100 to 130 library managers and municipal leaders for a full day of focused learning on reading promotion strategies and activities. The program features a plenary session alongside a series of interactive workshops led by professionals in reading promotion, child development, and creative writing. Just as importantly, the conference creates space for meaningful exchange, allowing participants to share successes, reflect on challenges, and strengthen connections across the network.

In 2021 and 2022, the conference was paused due to the pandemic; however, LPP adapted quickly by recording workshop sessions and distributing them digitally to libraries, ensuring continuity in training and support. Since resuming in person in 2023, the Annual Conference has grown into a cornerstone event—an essential gathering that energizes and unites the LPP community of collaborators.
